Embracing the Journey Together

Welcome to this week’s newsletter!

I’m excited to share updates on our homeschooling journey, my path to sobriety, and some exciting experiences we’ve had as a family.

Homeschooling Journey

As we dive deeper into homeschooling, we’re finding our rhythm. It was a bit challenging at first, but I think we’re finally on track!

Recently, we took a field trip to a local farm show, which was a fantastic experience.
To make it even more engaging, we used AI to create a list of questions for the kids. I simply input the farm show’s website into ChatGPT and printed off the questions for them to write down during our visit.

Nine Months of Sobriety

This month marks nine months of sobriety for me, and I’m proud to say that I’m still not tempted to drink or use drugs. Reflecting on my past reminds me of how far I’ve come and how much more engaged I am with my family.

I don’t want to let myself down, and staying sober has truly enriched my life.

Tip:
If you are thinking about quitting drinking a tip you should try; before having that first drink, write down on a piece of paper the reason why you are drinking.

It could because you are trying to numb something, break up or not wanting to feel left out.

Go ahead and start drinking, this isn’t a way to stop you from drinking but it will give you more clarity.

This has helped me realized that I had deeper issues that needed to be solved when I was sober, once I was able to conquer it sober I had no real reason to drink..

Give it try next time and see what you find out about yourself!!

Live TV Experience
I had the incredible opportunity to be on live TV on 𝕏, and it was a fantastic experience! Even my son got to join in, which made it even more special.

[Link for video] It was a new adventure for us, and I’m grateful for the chance to share our story.

Business Trial

I’m also getting closer to starting my business trial.
There’s a lot of work ahead, but I’m starting to see the horizon!
This journey has been another learning curve for me, and I’m ready to embrace the challenge.

One of the hardest parts has been writing my bio—talking about myself can feel so awkward!

House Sale Update

Our house is still sitting on the market, and we’re patiently waiting for the right offer to come along.

It’s a reminder that all good things come in time. We’re trusting the process and staying positive.

Personal Reflection

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for my wife’s unwavering support!

She believes in me, and I can’t thank her enough for allowing me to take this next step in our lives.

When your partner or significant other supports what you are doing, the drive to do better is even more!

Warrior Mindset

Throughout this journey, my Spartan mindset has been crucial in keeping us positive and focused on the future.

Marcus Aurelius said:
You have power over your mind—not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.”

This quote resonates with me deeply as I navigate my sobriety and our homeschooling efforts.

It reminds me that my mindset shapes my reality, and I choose to embrace the challenges ahead.

Thank you for joining me on this journey! I hope my experiences resonate with you, and I encourage you to embrace your own paths of growth. Together, we can only go up!

Be unstoppable 💪🏻
