Dream or Reality?

What if losing your grounding doesn’t wake you up—but pulls you deeper into the dream?

The Line We Walk When Healing

I had a dream the other night that’s still clinging to the edge of my mind. You ever wake up and ask yourself—was that real? Or worse—is this real?

It hit me how easily the lines blur. What makes a dream a dream? And if you can shape it—bend it, build it—does that mean we can also shape our waking reality?

“Is This Still a Dream?”

In the dream, I was searching for something to ground me. Usually, I have my cues—my "tells" that let me know I’m dreaming. Like an old bear on the table or a half-melted ice cream lodged halfway into a wall.

Absurd little things that told me;
Hey, none of this is real. You’re dreaming.

But what happens when those cues disappear?

Suddenly, the dream feels more solid. More real. And that’s when my mind circled back to something that’s fascinated me for years…

The Double Slit Experiment

For those who haven’t heard of this here’s a quick breakdown:

Scientists shoot particles (like photons or electrons) at a wall with two slits. Behind that wall is a detector screen. When unobserved, the particles behave like waves—going through both slits at once and creating an interference pattern.

But once a detector is placed to observe which slit the particle passes through—everything changes. The particle behaves like a solid object, going through only one slit. The wave-like behaviour vanishes.
